BASIC PURPOSE & SCOPE:

Under the direction of the Accounting Manager or Coordinator, is responsible for, but not limited to, assisting with preparation of payroll and billing information, assisting with the purchase of office supplies, typing, filing, copying, and simple record keeping.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Prepare letters, memorandums or notes to vendors, and special reports, if requested.
  2. Assist with organization and preparation of fiscal department records.
  3. Copy, sort and collate necessary articles.
  4. Assist with filing required documentation.
  5. Run errands as requested.
  6. Purchase supplies or equipment as may be directed.
  7. Completes supply order forms as requested, reviewing with supervisor if needed.
  8. Maintains office, medical, and form supply inventory, including ordering and stocking.
  9. Insures that prior approval is obtained for any reordered stationery supplies.
  10. Adheres to and reflects organizational values in daily work.
  11. Serves on agency committees as may be assigned.
  12. Maintains obligation to report wrong doing/violation of agency policies, applicable federal, state and local laws, and regulations, as pertaining to agency operations to immediate supervisor or identified compliance officer
  13. Completes all mandatory in-service education programs and completes any other additional in-service hours that is minimally required for the position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

      1.    High school diploma or its equivalent.

      2.    One-year office work experience in financial area.

      3.    Minimum keyboarding speed of 50 wpm.

      4.    Familiarity with standard office machines (copier, fax, etc.)

      5.    Basic computer literacy.

      6.    Acceptable driver’s license and automobile available with current insurance.

      7.    Availability by phone.
