Here is a recap of our 2018 event:
HomeCare & Hospice held their 22nd Annual Hospice Walk & Run on Saturday, May 18th at St. Bonaventure University. Registration began at 9 a.m. and the Walk officially stepped off at 10 a.m.
Participants were encouraged to create teams and raise pledges from family, friends and co-workers. Money raised supports HomeCare & Hospice and helps the agency work at increasing awareness of available services and resources that the agency provides throughout the community.
Cutco was the top team, raising $1,456 in support of HomeCare & Hospice. This year’s top individual earners were Jacki Falk and Bill O’Connell, who each raised $2,005 and $1,250 respectively. In third place was Pam Baker, who raised $800 in support of the agency.
Participants stayed after the race to enjoy pizza, visit with vendors and participate in basket raffles to win great prizes. Jacki Falk took home our grand prize of two round-trip airfare tickets courtesy of Southwest Airlines. Bill O’Connell took home the YMCA Gift Basket and Pam Baker left with the one-day Guided Fishing Tour by Wayne-O’s.
